Brick & Noble

At Barnes & Noble the other night, I couldn’t find a book I was looking for. The search kiosks are employee-only, and instead of asking for assistance it was easier to launch the Amazon.com iPhone app, find the book, and One-Click it with Prime shipping. It’ll be cheaper too, even after I pay my use taxes at the end of the year.

Brick & mortar needs to step it up. You can’t beat the browsing experience at a real bookstore, but I no longer have much incentive to actually purchase things while I’m there.
