Today a hawk hung out on the deck. All three cats lined up at the sliding glass door and stared. Like “Now there’s a bird I can respect.”

This is a fantastic idea and a great alternative to eBay.
When it comes to my home entertainment collection, I have a problem saying no. If it’s cheap enough and I can come…
Home stretch now. 45k words in the can, another 2.5k by tonight, and I want to finish tomorrow while I still have time. #nanowrimo
a bit surprised that today’s peopleofwalmart update doesn’t feature trampled shoppers clinging white-knuckled to $20 upscaling dvd players.
RT @5tu: Somewhere someone is finishing the Thanksgiving dinner that will be the basis of a depressing Sundance film starring Parker Posey.
At first I thought The Postal Service had released a horrible new album, but then I found out it’s some band called Owl City. Close one!
Mark Lanegan’s Bubblegum is a great album, esp. the tracks on which PJ Harvey is there to wail on. It’s Tom Waits without the atonal scat.
“Dear Prudence” is just one more thing that The Beatles did better than Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Netflix on the PS3 is better than Netflix on the TiVO. Can actually browse outside your “instant queue.” Great picture quality, considering.
In tonight’s #nanowrimo session: “timshel”, nature/nurture, and raking leaves. 10k words, here I come!
I don’t know how, but I did it. Made my #nanowrimo quota. Sitting at 8286 words. A little ham-fisted today, and I’ve still got no plot. Meh.
Holy crap @drobo takes a long time to resync data after you swap a drive. It’s been going all day and looks like it’ll be going all night.
I don’t feel like writing today. #nanowrimo
My @NaNoWriMo word count is 3560. One of them is “quantum.” Another is “nonplussed.” 241 of them are “the.” Only 9 of them are f-bombs.
First 1800 or so words of @NaNoWriMo in the can. Seriously the most boring tripe ever written. A few gems in there, but nothing special.
